Due to the impact of Super Typhoon Tapah’s strong winds and heavy rain on the community and the school premises, including fallen trees inside and outside the school, the school has conducted a preliminary assessment and believes that time is needed for cleanup and further inspection of the school buildings and facilities. The school has reported the situation to the Education Bureau’s district officer and the Incorporated Management Committee (IMC). To ensure the safety of teachers, students, and staff, the school, after careful consideration and with the approval of the IMC, has decided to continue the school closure for one day on September 25 (Thursday) to carry out campus cleanup and restoration work.
During the school closure, students should stay at home to continue self-learning and revision. Parents are requested to pay attention to their children’s safety and avoid allowing students to go out to dangerous areas. The school will continue to monitor the progress of campus repairs. Dictation and Tests:
⚫ Chinese dictation for Grades 3 and 5 will be postponed to September 26 (Friday);
⚫ Chinese quizzes for Grades 3 and 5 will be postponed to September 26 (Friday);
⚫ Chinese quiz for Grade 4 will be postponed to September 29 (Monday);
⚫ Math quizzes for Grades 2 and 6 will be postponed to September 26 (Friday);
Lunch:
⚫ The lunch meal for September 25 (Thursday) will be postponed to September 26 (Friday) for production and supply, and meals will be distributed according to the order list for September 25 (Thursday).
⚫ The lunch meal for September 26 (Friday) will be cancelled.
After-School Activities:
After-school activities and after-school care classes on September 26 (Friday) will proceed as usual.
Ordering Winter Uniforms:
The original date of September 23 (Tuesday) is changed to September 30 (Tuesday) from 9:00-11:30 AM. If students need to order, please bring the uniform order form and a $100 deposit to school.
Primary One Admission Application for Discretionary Places:
Our school will collect application forms according to the time specified by the Education Bureau. The deadline is extended to September 30 (Tuesday).
